Hands up who has written their business plan!

Hands up those of you have reviewed your plan in the last 6 months!

Let me ask you a question! What do you think of when I mention Business Plans? Do you get sweaty and start to panic? I know exactly what that feels like because that is how I used to feel. I run or am involved in 6 businesses. Each one has a plan, but each one is very different. The first question to ask is ‘who is this plan for?’. Now, if it is for the bank manager, you will need to find out what sort plan they are looking for. But if it just to get you focused and taking action, it can be any format you like.

So many of the start up businesses that I see are frozen in fear over their business plan because some well meaning soul has said they ‘must have one’, but it really can be in any kind of format you like – even on the back of a fag packet!

The main thing is that it means something to you, is a point of reference to keep you on track and that it focuses you in so that you can take ACTION, without which NOTHING HAPPENS!
