Last week I worked with the Beyond Excellence team at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge. We delivered a Masterclass event with Kent Works who bring entreprise to our schools in Kent. It was a great day. Dean Martin from BE was as energetic as ever and started the day with a key note speach about ‘BE YOUR BEST’, the theme of the day.

I was involved in getting the kids to think about communication skills, but I talk a lot about signal spotting as well as part of that. We went through interviewing techniques, how to answer the phone, what to look out for in the reactions of others as well as a whole host of other things that it is important to be aware of as we go out into the work place.
