Just Picture It!

My Goal

My Goal

For some time now I have been using the art of visualisation to achieve my goals. Well let’s face it, if the world’s top business people and our greatest athletes use this method, I would be stupid not to!

Ask yourself now, right this minute – do you visualise your success? Do you take time out just to switch on the TV in your head as opposed to the TV in the lounge?

Just 20 minutes a day of quiet time can make your goals happen. As you visualise, use your senses. Feel the sun on your face as you sit on the beach on your luxury holiday; picture and smell the new leather seats as you drive your Mercedes – hear the purr of the engine; feel the bubbles on your tongue and hear the chink of crystal as you sip champagne to celebrate your first million.

My Goal

My Goal

Speak your goals out loud to yourself or anyone who shares them with you, several times a day, and use the present tense. For instance, ‘I am enjoying wearing this Armani suit, it makes me feel successful’. ‘I am loving this new kitchen and way I feel when I come out in the morning to make the coffee and warm the coissants’. Get the picture?

I have just printed out a picture of the motor home I am picturing. I have been to see one, sat in it, smelt it, touched it and now I am enjoying my vision of driving around the South of France in it. The picture is on my vision board and on my screen saver. My subconscious mind is working away to open up the paths to allow my goal to be achieved – even when I sleep!

So, if you are serious about achieving your goals – Just Picture Them. It’s such fun!
