Streetwise
Streetwise is a three module programme aimed at young people who are about to enter the world of adulthood. The format you see below is ideal for age 15+. It benefits most, those young people who have made their first choices in life post GCSE.
I am happy to look at adaptations of the programme to suit the need and am available to discuss any requirements that your group or organisation may have. This could be an ideal programme for young people to experience with their parents or carers.
Each module is 1 hour long. See Feedback Below.

When introducing the Streetwise pilot programme at The Marsh Academy. Jill shared experiences in her life and career and in doing so made a strong connection with the class and modeled the perserverance necessary for success. The students appreciated being talked with and not at them, and everyone truly wanted to listen to what Jill and other students had to say. The workshop felt fresh, interesting and was received well by students and teachers attending.

I would like to give you some feedback on the ‘Streetwise’ workshop that I attended at Marsh Academy in November 2009.
As always Jill you have a wonderful way of delivering a workshop that young people want to be in.
All three modules are both relevant and essential to the young people and this came across very clearly with their interaction and steady flow of questions. As you covered the ‘positive you’ and how to structure themselves in relationships it was plain to see that you had invoked a train of thought amongst the group which then encouraged their interaction on the ‘Money’ module.
I would advise all students to attend this course as is undoubtedly beneficial to their future pathways.
Well done . I look forward to attending with another audience in the future.
