I wasn’t sure what to base the book on as there are all sorts of aspects opf my life, good and bad, which I wanted to talk about, but I have now decided to write about life with ‘My John’.

My John

John and I met over 12 years ago and since that time my life has been akin to a roller coaster. Great stuff! John’s level of dyslexia is so severe that it makes him a very interesting person to live with because he is also very intelligent. Quite a paradox, don’t you agree? So I want to write about our life together and our journey through his depression 5 years ago and how he came out the other side. In fact, it was not until I read his book, Go Play in the Sand, John, that I realised just how depressed and dangerously close to the edge he had become.

So I am hoping that my book will help others to understand dyslexia more from the the point of view of someone who lives along side it day in and day out.

I also want to include our business journey which is a whole book in its own right really. How we made a complete hash of it at the start and then how we handled the debt it left us with.

How strange, you may think, that she is writing this in her blog. Well, what better way to commit to something. When you set your goals, tell the world. Great motivation to go ahead and get it done!
